Our Story

Tracmor was started in 2006 when the founders, owners of a medical device company, were in need of a tool to keep track of medical equipment. Like many small businesses, they tried using spreadsheets and lightweight database systems but knew there had to be a better way. After becoming frustrated with existing asset and inventory tracking solutions that were overly complex and painfully expensive, we started creating our own solution, Tracmor. we strongly believe that a truly powerful asset-tracking solution should be easy to use, accessible to multiple users simultaneously from anywhere, and priced affordably for businesses of all sizes.

Our Service

At its core, Tracmor is simple yet powerful online asset-tracking software designed from the ground up for the web. We did not adapt Tracmor Software from desktop software. Tracmor’s Software as a Service model securely hosts the software on the internet to meet the needs of organizations worldwide. We regularly provide software updates based on customer feedback and automatically roll them out to users without requiring any action.

Our Technology

We developed Tracmor software using the Laravel framework, on top of a LEMP (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP) stack infrastructure. We host with Amazon Web Services, utilizing EC2 for web servers, RDS (Multi-AZ) for databases, and S3 for file storage. AWS’s world-class, highly secure data centers monitor our servers and firewalls 24/7.
